We tore out the old concrete driveway last weekend. The surface was cracked and uneven, creating tripping hazards and pooling water after every rain. With a rented jackhammer and a lot of patience, we broke the slabs into manageable pieces, hauled them to a recycling center, and prepped the base for a new permeable paver system to improve drainage.
